Job Responsibilities
  • Teach English and Media across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring engaging and stimulating lessons.
  • Develop and deliver innovative lessons that inspire students to explore literature, language, and media texts.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to cater to the varying needs of students, including those with special educational needs and differing learning styles.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has strong knowledge of the English and Media curricula and is comfortable teaching at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5.
  • Is a passionate, engaging, and dedicated educator who can inspire students.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Is committed to continuous professional development and keen to progress in their teaching career.
  • Ideally has experience teaching Media at A-Level (but not essential).
