We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational Teacher of English to join our highly successful English department at Twynham School on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become part of a high‑performing subject area and to contribute to our shared vision for excellence.
The role will be predominantly based at Twynham School, but our English departments at Twynham and The Grange School (TGS) work closely together, planning curriculum and assessment and sharing our approach to teaching and learning. As separate schools within a federation, colleagues benefit from the best of both worlds: the stability of Twynham’s established success and the energy of TGS’s rapid improvement journey. In fact, TGS was recognised as one of the top 35 most improved schools nationally in 2024. This collaboration offers a fantastic opportunity to work with colleagues across two schools and two different contexts, providing excellent professional development.
This post would suit a colleague in the early stages of their career who is looking for a role that offers outstanding experience and future career opportunities.
