  • Inspire students to develop a love for reading, writing, and communication
  • Prepare students for internal and external assessments
  • Mark and provide feedback in line with school policy
  • Monitor and track student progress, using data to inform planning
  • Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities and learning needs
  • Contribute to department planning, moderation, and curriculum development
  • Support literacy across the curriculum
  • Uphold and promote school values and safeguarding policies
  • Attend departmental and whole-school meetings
