Teacher of Drama - Part-Time (Immediate Start) Halton, Cheshire - Further Education Setting

About the Role

Hours: Every Tuesday, 1:15pm-4:30pm (with a 15-minute break)

Start: As soon as possible

Duration: Until at least Christmas, with the strong possibility of continuing until the end of the academic year

Location: Halton, Cheshire (FE college environment)

Pay: negotiable based on experience

What You'll Be Doing
  • Delivering engaging, practical drama workshops
  • Teaching core acting techniques
  • Supporting students with devised performance projects
  • Assisting in directing plays and performance pieces
  • Helping learners grow in confidence, creativity, and professional practice
About You

You will be an energetic, supportive practitioner with experience in drama, performing arts, or theatre. You'll be confident working with Level 2 learners and able to bring creativity, structure, and inspiration to each session.

To be considered for this role, you must have
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • An enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new disclosure
  • A full and complete CV
  • A minimum of two references
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • An overseas police check (if applicable)
