Overview

We are incredibly proud of our ambitious, curriculum focused, research-driven school. Our vision is built around the principles of ambition, respect and belonging and we have a strong commitment to the development of our staff as outstanding professionals.

Due to the promotion of the existing postholder we now have a vacancy for a Teacher of DT. This post would suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher who is enthusiastic about Design Technology to work in our forward thinking and well-resourced Design and Technology Department. We are open to appoint a teacher from any D&T specialism.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Design and Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4 with energy, new ideas and expertise to an experienced and successful team.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the latest developments in the Key Stage 3 and 4 Design and Technology curriculum.
  • Have the flexibility to teach across different subjects at Key Stage 3.
  • Help raise the profile of Design and Technology through high-quality delivery of an engaging and relevant curriculum across KS3 and KS4, including extra-curricular clubs and activities.
