A prominent educational institution in Tees Valley is seeking a part-time Teacher of A Level History and Politics to plan and deliver engaging educational experiences. The ideal candidate will have qualified teacher status and relevant degree, alongside experience in teaching Alevels. You will create a supportive learning environment and provide pastoral care in alignment with college standards. Salary: £23,652 - £34,849 per annum, actual salary (subject to a progression criteria)*
Annual Leave: 45 days per annum plus bank holidays (pro rata)
Contractual hours: 29.6 hours per week
Teaching hours: 864 hours per annum (pro rata)
Basis: Part time, Permanent

Thesalary progression criteria beyond point 11 of the Lecturer scale will be based on you achieving and maintaining, on an annual basis, the Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) & QTS. To progress beyond point 14 of the Lecturer salary scale, you will be expected to achieve and maintain the Advanced Teacher Status (ATS).
