We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer in A Level Business to join our successful Sixth Form team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across A Level Business, inspiring learners to develop critical thinking and analytical skills that prepare them for university and beyond.

The successful candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, enthusiasm for the subject, and a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning. You will design and deliver engaging lessons that foster curiosity, challenge learners, and develop their ability to apply economic theory to real-world contexts. You will also play an active role in curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Teach and assess across A Level Business programmes
• Design and deliver inclusive, learner-centred lessons that promote stretch, challenge, and higher-order thinking
• Support learners academically and pastorally, including those with SEND and high needs
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives
• Embed real-world business applications and current affairs into teaching practice
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in business and education
