Teaching Assistant

Location: Dunstable
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Term time only)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Dunstable. In this role, you will support children with special educational needs both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN
  • Assist learning during lessons as well as break and lunchtime supervision
  • Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment
  • Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for all students
Who We\'re Looking For

Experience working in a school is not essential—we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are passionate about supporting children. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have some experience working with SEN children (desirable, but not essential)
  • Be committed, patient, and reliable
  • Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach (essential)
  • Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check (via the Update Service)
  • Hold permanent UK residency (essential)
