Overview

Senior Manager - Transaction Tax, Big 4 - London. Package: £80,000 - £110,000 + car allowance & package. We are seeking experienced tax professionals to join a leading Transaction Tax team at Senior Manager level. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of high-profile transactions, helping clients navigate the tax considerations that arise across acquisitions, restructurings, re-financings, and asset deals. As a Senior Manager, you'll play a leading role in shaping the delivery of complex projects, guiding clients through every stage of a deal, and ensuring our teams bring clear, practical, and commercially focused solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Advising on the tax aspects of major corporate transactions, ensuring clients understand the risks, opportunities, and structuring options available.
  • Leading client engagements, building trusted relationships, and acting as a key point of contact throughout the deal process.
  • Coaching and developing junior colleagues, helping to grow the next generation of transaction tax specialists.
  • Working alongside colleagues in specialist areas (such as corporate finance, restructuring, and international tax) to deliver integrated advice.
  • Driving business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and supporting proposals and pitches.
  • Bringing a commercial perspective to technical tax analysis, ensuring advice is both practical and aligned to client objectives.
  • Continuously developing your own expertise, staying up to date with market developments, and sharing knowledge across the team.
What we're looking for
  • A recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent) or relevant international experience.
  • A strong track record of advising on complex tax issues within a deals or corporate tax environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality advice under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and commercial acumen, with a collaborative approach to working in diverse teams.
  • Ambition to contribute to the growth of a national practice with an international outlook.
