Job description

Overview

Tax Accountant role for 3 months starting in the New Year, requires tax accounting duties for year end and VAT review, for this interim Tax Accountant role in London.

Supporting the Head of Tax for the UK&I operations, the interim Tax Accountant will start this role on the 5th January for a 3 months period, therefore, going through to Easter 2026.

Responsibilities

• Complete the year end internal reporting packs
• Prepare tax reconciliations
• Prepare tax provisions for group reporting
• Prepare current and deferred tax notes for the local statutory accounts
• Review the VAT returns prepared by finance

Qualifications

To be considered for this role it is essential to have a solid tax accounting background, be hands on in the reporting requirements, and be able to review VAT returns (preparation is not required).

Working Arrangements

Hybrid working is on offer with 1-2 days per week required in the central London office.

Availability

This is a great opportunity to start off 2026 in a role, taking you through to the Spring.
