The Taboola News team works directly with Original Equipment Manufacturers, Mobile Carriers, and apps globally to deliver a high-quality, high-engagement content experience on mobile devices. Taboola’s personalized content recommendations are now integrated with devices from Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Huawei, ZTE, Vivo, and many more. The Taboola News Account Manager will be based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of one of Taboola’s most innovative products.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven results in a customer-facing role; ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders including senior executives, legal, technical, finance, sales, and marketing teams.
- Good technical understanding, including explaining technical solutions, setting goals, and developing opportunities with technical teams.
- Experience opening support tickets and handling technical setup requirements.
- Strong analytical skills—providing ongoing reporting, data analysis, identifying trends, and improving key metrics, including working with Product Management on A/B testing and optimization.
- A track record of closing business and managing long, complex sales cycles.
- Highly motivated, proactive, resourceful, and creative to ensure clients receive world-class support and leadership.
- High attention to detail, organized, with excellent communication skills.
- Self-starter with the motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 2 times per quarter.
Bonus points if you have:
- Prior experience working with OEMs—considered a strong advantage.
- Negotiation experience working with customers to define deliverables, deadlines, and expectations—an added plus.
How you’ll make an impact:
As an Account Manager in Taboola News, you’ll add value by:
- Managing and growing relationships with strategic mobile-first partners globally, including smartphone manufacturer Motorola and US-based carriers.
- Monitoring and analyzing metrics, proactively improving results, and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Conducting in-person meetings with key stakeholders and preparing quarterly business reviews.
- Developing strong relationships at all organizational levels.
- Providing strategic consultation, updating partners on new product capabilities, and identifying new growth areas.
- Collaborating with the Technical Account Management team for comprehensive account management.
- Serving as a communication bridge between Taboola’s R&D and Product teams to develop suitable products.
- Understanding the Taboola business, including technology, revenue ecosystem, and client needs, to identify new opportunities and grow the business.
