A leading scientific engineering business in Bristol is seeking a Systems Engineering Architect to manage architectural artefacts and mentor other architects. This role involves collaboration across teams and requires strong expertise in complex systems architecture and hands-on MBSE. Candidates must obtain UK Security Clearance, which requires UK citizenship. Competitive salary up to £65,000 and great benefits offered.

Salary: Up to £65,000 P/A d.o.e. + benefits (plus Overtime, Flexi and Bonus)
Hours: 37 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Engineering Architect to join an ambitious, highly regarded, scientific engineering / manufacturing business that are in a position of sustained growth. As the Lead Architect, you will be responsible for the generation of all architectural artefacts within the boundary of Mission Planning & Control through a combination of your own work, as well as guiding other architects within the team. This project, and the role, covers multiple product offerings, and as the Lead Architect, you will have the opportunity to strive to maximise modularity and re-use across these, as well as heavily support and influence the design process. The Lead Architect reports to the Head of Mission Planning & Control and is expected to work and collaborate across other first reports to deliver on the overarching team objectives, on time, on cost and on quality.
