Job description

Overview

Swim Instructor – We are looking for a qualified and passionate Swimming Teacher to teach at our Swim School in Walsall for at least 7 hours a week. We are seeking someone who brings energy to the position and enjoys working with children of varying ages. No two days will be the same, and we need individuals who can think on their feet in changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Instructor must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Level 2 Award in Swimming or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in teaching swimming.
• Knowledge of swimming strokes and equipment (buoyancy devices, flotation devices, etc.).
• Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work with students of all ages and motivate them to perform at their highest level.
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable mobile phone and computer skills.
• Baby Pre School Qualification is a bonus.

This position will be subject to satisfactory references and will require an enhanced DBS check.
