About the Role

Beach Baker is delighted to be working on behalf of a leading property consultancy to recruit a Chartered Surveyor for their expanding Valuation & Advisory team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and well-established team, delivering high-quality valuation services across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.

The role offers a blend of office-based work and field inspections, with exposure to strategic advisory projects across Bristol, the South West, and Wales.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake Red Book valuations for retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use assets
• Prepare detailed reports for banks, investors, developers, and corporate clients
• Conduct market research and analysis to support valuation assumptions
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market trends and regulatory changes
• Support business development and contribute to team growth
• Ensure compliance with RICS standards and internal QA procedures

Candidate Profile

Essential:

• MRICS qualified with post-qualification experience in commercial valuation
• Proven track record of delivering Red Book valuations
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region

Desirable:

• Experience with development appraisals and investment fund valuations
• Working knowledge of Argus Enterprise
• Familiarity with the South West and South Wales property markets would be excellent.
