Role: Surgical Care Practitioner / Robotics
Location: The Princess Grace Hospital
Hours: Permanent, Full time 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday - Saturday, earlies, lates and long days
Salary: Competitive + shift allowance + Golden Hello
What you will do
- Support Robotic surgery within the department. This is a clinical bedside assistance role with no patient clinics involved
- Responsibility to the consultant surgeon, with day-to-day work under the direction of the operating surgeon and as a member of the surgical care team.
- Patient assessment and preparation for surgery.
- Effectively manage the clinical area on a day to day basis and plan ahead.
What you will bring
- Qualified Surgical Care Practitioner (Essential)
- MSc, PG Cert, PG Dip Surgical Care Practice
- Strong Robotics, Urology or Gynaecology Experience Required
- Registration as a healthcare professional (e.g. nurse or ODP) with a related honours degree
- Recent experience in theatre nursing
- 2-3 years experience working as a Qualified Surgical Care Practitioner.
- Log Book (Essential)
- An aptitude for clinical and operative practice
- The ability to effectively manage the clinical area on a day to day basis and plan ahead.
