A leading veterinary organization in Essex is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with a surgical bias to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to perform complex surgical procedures and manage diverse medical cases. Candidates must have MRCVS registration and a minimum of 2–3 years' clinical experience. The position provides a 4-day working week, a supportive work environment, and a competitive salary up to £70,000 depending on experience.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon with a surgical bias to join a forward-thinking and supportive hospital team in Essex.
This is a dynamic, 24-hour RCVS-accredited small animal hospital, located just 30 minutes by train from London and within easy reach of two major airports. The purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility includes CT, MRI, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy rehabilitation, and more. The seaside is only a 25-minute drive away, offering the balance of city convenience and coastal charm.
The hospital team consists of 14 vets, including certificate holders in surgery and medicine, alongside a highly skilled nursing team with many post-graduate certifications. The wider team also includes a hydrotherapist, physiotherapist, and 12 Client Care Advisors.
This role offers the chance to join a thriving hospital providing gold-standard inpatient care, first-opinion consultations, and outpatient services covering emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, imaging, and laser therapy.
