Supported Living Manager – Mental Health & Complex Needs

Location: Near Croydon

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Full-Time, Permanent

I am seeking an experienced and passionate Supported Living Manager to lead a well-established service supporting adults with mental health conditions and complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong and compassionate leader to make a genuine difference within a respected organisation dedicated to delivering outstanding person-centred support.

About the Role

As the Supported Living Manager, you will oversee the operational and clinical management of the service, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care and support. You will lead and motivate your team to promote independence, dignity, and inclusion for all individuals in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a supported living service for adults with mental health and complex needs.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and maintain the service’s excellent inspection outcomes.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated staff team to deliver person-centred and recovery-focused support.
  • Promote a positive staff culture that values teamwork, learning, and high-quality care.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, local authorities, and families to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
  • Oversee care planning, audits, and quality assurance processes.
About You
  • Proven experience managing or supervising in a supported living environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health, challenging behaviour, and positive behaviour support approaches.
  • Excellent understanding of CQC regulations with a record of good or outstanding inspection results.
  • Ideally hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (NVQ 5) or equivalent qualification.
  • A confident, motivational leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support and driving continuous improvement.
