This is a Full Time, Maternity cover role until 31st July 2026. This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving complex challenges, and leading others to do their best work. You won't be delivering direct support, but your impact will be felt every day by the people who live in our supported housing schemes. What is great about the role? This is a role where no two days are the same. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands‑on problem solving, visiting schemes, supporting your team, and shaping services that make a real difference.

  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent housing services
  • Influence and develop supported housing partnerships and contracts
  • Improve customer experience through innovative and compassionate approaches
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders to shape services for the communities we support
  • Make services sustainable, future‑focused, and responsive to changing needs

If you enjoy solving complex challenges, building strong relationships, and helping others perform at their best, this role offers all of that and more.

Where does the role fit in?

This role sits within Pobl's housing services and reports to the senior leadership team. You will lead a small team of Supported Housing Partnerships Officers and work closely with colleagues across housing, compliance, safeguarding, and customer accounts. You will also represent Pobl externally, building strong relationships with managing agents, support providers, commissioners, and other multi‑agency partners. Although the role is flexible, it is not home‑based. You'll spend much of your time visiting schemes, seeing services in action, and meeting partners to understand what's working well and where improvements can be made. You'll be at the heart of ensuring supported housing services are safe, compliant, sustainable, and genuinely focused on the needs of residents.

  • Team leadership experience – able to coach, support, and motivate colleagues to deliver excellent services
  • Supported housing knowledge – experience managing services and working with external providers or partners

  • People skills – confident negotiator, influencer, and trusted partner across a range of stakeholders
  • Clear communicator – able to explain complex information clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Problem solver – able to analyse information, make sound decisions, and take a balanced approach to challenges
  • Organised and flexible – can manage competing priorities calmly and effectively
  • Inclusive mindset – committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work
