In brief

The Position:

In order to deliver excellent person-centred care at home, we are presently seeking additional full-time support workers to join our Stirling team.

You will collaborate with the team to provide high-quality care and support, with an emphasis on optimising older adults’ capacity for independent living and keeping the service users’ surroundings secure and comfortable.

Work hours: a minimum of 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled according to a schedule. We provide adaptable work schedules.

We will talk about your availability if you accept an interview invitation, but the shifts you will probably be asked to work are:

7:00 am to 2:00 pm, with a half-hour break

4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a 30-minute meal break

We provide:
  • The hourly salary for a care assistant is currently between £12.82 and £13.00.

Role requirements include:
  • Allowance to work in the United Kingdom
  • Knowledge of the rights and requirements of senior citizens receiving home care
  • The capacity to offer individualised care and assistance, allowing a service user to feel appreciated and regarded as a unique person
  • Capacity to operate without constant oversight
  • Sincere interest in and a flexible, open attitude to promoting high standards of care for the elderly
  • Capacity to work a shift schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and days
We want you to possess:
  • Complete UK driver’s license
  • Prior care and support experience is advantageous but not necessary because we offer comprehensive training.
  • Two references (one for character and one for current or most recent employment)
  • SVQ 2 or readiness to finish this
  • The readiness to finish free training courses and online courses
  • Willingness to sign up for the PVG program
  • Readiness to sign up with SSSC
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
