A charitable organization supporting individuals with learning disabilities is seeking a Support Worker/Relief Support Worker in Tees Valley. This role offers flexibility in hours and a supportive environment, providing care and assistance both in-home and within the community. Responsibilities include helping individuals manage daily tasks and personal care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a caring personality. Mixed Contracts Available
We are looking for a Support Worker/ Relief Support Worker to join our Registered Service based in Thornaby on a permanent, Full time/ Part time / Relief basis (various hours a week). Shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep ins, weekends and bank holidays. You will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70 for any sleep in shifts carried out. The payment for sleep ins is non-contractual.
We can be flexible with the number of hours offered and will consider applications from all interested candidates.
You will be working in our registered service supporting six people both in the home and out in the community, supporting six people in a team of 14 Support workers. Day shifts are 3pm - 10pm, 8am - 4.30pm, and 7am - 3pm. Experience within the care sector is an advantage but not a necessity as full training will be provided.
