A local government council in Wakefield is seeking self-motivated waking night support workers to provide care for adults with learning disabilities in their homes. Responsibilities include supporting night-time routines, administering medication, and promoting independence. Ideal candidates will have experience in care and a commitment to person-centered approaches. Additional benefits include enhanced pay for night and weekend work.
We are recruiting self-motivated and enthusiastic waking night support workers, providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities within their own homes. You will make a difference to the quality of a person's life by supporting them with their night time routines. This can include administering medication, intimate personal care including showering/bathing, dressing or undressing, assisting with toileting etc. You will have an understanding of the importance of promoting independence and enabling positive life choices.
