A community support organization in Huntington, York seeks enthusiastic Support Workers for a permanent, full-time position. You will provide essential support to individuals with learning disabilities, helping them live independently and fostering meaningful relationships. Flexibility in working hours is key, as shifts will vary across mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. We are looking for Support Workers to join our service in Huntington, York on a permanent, full-time basis (37.5 hours).
We are looking to grow our team of dedicated, caring and enthusiastic support workers. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. You will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will help to ensure the people we support live a happy life. You will have excellent communication skills and be a naturally caring and patient personality.
As each service is different, so too are the requirements and shift patterns. Shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and bank holidays so flexibility is key. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
