Opportunities for advancement are available in this full-time position, initially for 5 months.

The Role :

• Working to offer Holistic and Positive options for people who are homeless or potentially facing becoming homelessness.
• Working alongside people who have moderate – high support needs.
• Liaising with other agencies in regard to specific needs including Benefits, Mental Health, Substance Misuse, Housing / Estate Agents and Education & Training.
• Looking after 5-8 customers offering a quality service to support people with complex needs.
• Writing, reviewing and updating support plans and risk assessments, using a motivated and positive approach.

The Candidate :

• Experience in a support worker position, supporting people with various needs and backgrounds.
• Having the ability to apply common sense to situations, whilst being accountable for decisions made and reasons behind them.
• Being able to establish and maintain relationships within internal and external partnerships, and with multiple clients and colleagues.
• Maintaining records and putting action plans in place
• Ideally holds a NVQ LVL 3 in relevant field.
• Knowledge of Housing Support and experience working with vulnerable individuals, being able to read and assess difficult situations and provide solutions

SUMMARY :
