Responsibilities
  • Deliver Tailored Support: Provide responsive, person-centred assistance to individuals with complex needs, helping them achieve positive outcomes and independence.
  • Foster Collaboration: Build open and trusting relationships with customers, colleagues, and partner agencies to ensure seamless and comprehensive support.
  • Promote Participation: Encourage individuals to engage in social, educational and employment opportunities, preventing isolation and promoting self-determination.
  • Manage Risks Effectively: Conduct thorough risk assessments and maintain professional boundaries, ensuring health, safety and compliance with safeguarding policies.
Role Details

This role is offered on a part-time, permanent basis working 22.2 hours per week. You will be working on a rolling 5 week rota, Monday to Sunday between 8am and 9pm on a 4 week rolling rota. This is a scheme-based role working 3 days per week. This role will be based in the Truro/Falmouth/Penryn area.

This role is based in the Truro/Falmouth/Penryn area. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups. Appointment to this role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

Requirements
  • Have an understanding of support needs and support planning.
  • Have experience of risk assessing and risk management.
  • Be a great communicator with the ability to build rapport.
  • Have accurate record keeping and computer skills.
  • Confident in lone working and be a good team player.
  • Have a flexible working approach to work.
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Be resilient and adaptable.
  • Have an open, friendly personality and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
