A care support organization in New Romney seeks a compassionate Support Worker to provide high-quality 1:1 support for a female client with learning disabilities and other health needs. Responsibilities include personal care, supporting daily activities, and preparing modified meals. The position offers flexible shifts and competitive pay rates ranging from £15.00 to £16.83 per hour, with opportunities for additional work.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality 1:1 support to a female adult client. She lives with a long-term health condition requiring regular monitoring, has a moderate learning disability, and controlled epilepsy.
You will support her both at home and out in the community. She enjoys a variety of daily activities including horse-riding, swimming, bowling, and trips to the local theatre. We're looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm, confidence and encouragement to help her get the most out of each day.
Contract type: Zero hours contract. Contracted hours may be considered following successful completion of probation.
Shifts available: 8:30am to 2:30pm; 2:30pm to 8:30pm; 8:30pm to 8:30am (waking night). Work 2‑3 days per week plus 2 nights per week. You will need to work alternate weekends, with opportunities for additional shifts to cover sickness and annual leave.
Hourly Rates: £15.00 to £16.83 per hour with enhanced rate for UK public holidays.
