Overview

We offer round‑the‑clock care and support for four adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, autism, and some physical disabilities. Our mission is to empower the people we support to live their best lives by assisting them with every aspect of daily living. This includes organising and supporting outings, managing finances, attending appointments, administering medication, and ensuring a healthy and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess needs and develop personalised support plans
  • Promote independence through life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
  • Provide personal care with sensitivity and respect
  • Follow and contribute to risk assessments and management plans
  • Induct and assist in the mentoring of new staff
  • Support aspirations and help individuals achieve their goals
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in the care or support sector
  • Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs and preferences
  • Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
  • Work well as part of a team and independently
  • Be committed to equality, diversity, and person‑centred care
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work
Location and Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Old Barn, a registered care home in Gawcott, near Buckingham. As a Support Worker, you'll make a meaningful impact on the lives of the people we support, helping them achieve independence and live with dignity.
