A care organization in Buckingham is seeking a Support Worker to assist individuals with learning disabilities to promote their independence and well-being. Responsibilities include developing personalized support plans, providing personal care, and mentoring new staff. Ideal candidates will have experience in the care sector, excellent communication skills, and a full UK driving licence. We offer round‑the‑clock care and support for four adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, autism, and some physical disabilities. Our mission is to empower the people we support to live their best lives by assisting them with every aspect of daily living. This includes organising and supporting outings, managing finances, attending appointments, administering medication, and ensuring a healthy and safe environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Old Barn, a registered care home in Gawcott, near Buckingham. As a Support Worker, you'll make a meaningful impact on the lives of the people we support, helping them achieve independence and live with dignity.
