A local care service provider in Birmingham is seeking a Support Worker to assist individuals with personal care and engage them in activities that promote their wellbeing. Candidates should possess a full UK driver's license and ideally have experience or qualifications in Health & Social Care. This is a full-time position, and training will be provided to help you develop your skills further.

We provide a range of care and support services for our adult citizens, who have a learning disability. Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own. We’re seeking to recruit some great new support workers; people with the right values and behaviours to work in our residential care service, supportive living and domiciliary care – could this be you?
You will need to have some previous experience in this field, some with qualifications Health & Social Care – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker.

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our citizens are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. As a general guide, duties may include some support with personal care needs, working with low level challenging behaviours, and helping people take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing, such as arts and crafts, watching football, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions.
