Qualifications

We’re delighted to be supporting a very well‑established eCommerce and technology services business within the music and entertainment sectors. They have a formidable, international client base and a values‑driven and supportive company culture that is second to none. Due to exciting company growth, they are looking for a talented Support Developer to join the team.

What skills you’ll be needing
  • Proficiency in PHP and MySQL, utilising Docker for deployment workflows and Git for version control.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for Shopify theme development (Liquid), alongside React for custom application interfaces.
  • Understanding of API integrations and working with GraphQL to connect third‑party services.
  • Strong grasp of general website performance concepts, including HTTP, SSL, and DNS configurations.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like Sanity and WordPress.
What you’ll be doing

This is a role with real variety! You’ll be managing and resolving back‑end and front‑end tickets, bug fixing, working with API’s and participating in code reviews. A key part of the role will be customising and enhancing existing websites, new features and platform updates. There’s an opportunity to assist with testing, contributing to micro‑services development and working with internal teams on innovative solutions. You will be providing support for CMS and e‑commerce platforms including Shopify, WordPress and Sanity.io and working with Shopify themes using Liquid templating and React‑based admin interfaces. They will look for you to communicate technical solutions clearly and take part in their on‑call out of hours rota for urgent issues.
