Job Summary

Aspire People is currently seeking passionate and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to join our team, working on a day-to-day and short-term basis in secondary schools across St Albans and surrounding areas. Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across year 7 to year 11, aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Follow pre-set lesson plans or provide appropriate cover work when needed
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with each school's policies
  • Mark students' work and leave detailed handover notes as required
  • Build positive relationships with staff and pupils at different schools
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (essential)
  • Prior teaching experience in UK secondary schools (preferred)
  • Confident and adaptable in different school settings
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
