Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and interactive teaching sessions to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
• Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure continuity in learning
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment
• Provide feedback to students on their progress and achievements
• Communicate effectively with school staff and parents regarding student performance

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS check clearance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Prior experience working as a teacher in a school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the national curriculum
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
• Effective classroom management skills
• Proficient in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
