Job summary

A vibrant food brand in the UK is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain management. This role involves forecasting, production planning, and inventory optimization to ensure efficiency and minimize waste. Candidates must possess an HCCAP qualification and have experience in the food sector. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage a small team. This role is onsite in Reading, focused on delivering quality results in a dynamic environment.

  • End to end supply chain planning across demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management.

What will do you as a Supply Chain Planning Manager
  • End to end supply chain planning across demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using sales data, promotions, seasonality & new product launches
  • Build scalable planning processes and tools (S&OP / IBP) to balance service levels & cost
  • Manage supplier and capacity planning, lead times, and constraints to ensure on‑time, in full delivery
  • Optimize inventory levels to minimize waste, spoilage, and stockouts
  • Use data and KPIs to identify risks and improvement
What will you need to be a Supply Chain Planning Manager
  • HCCAP qualification
  • Experience working within the Food sector
  • Happy to be based on site 5 days a week
  • Strong analytical skills, Excel and forecasting systems experience
  • Managed a small team of staff
