ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Planner to join our pharmaceutical operations team in the UK at Eli Lilly. You will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless flow of products from global manufacturing sites to the UK market, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring high service levels for both direct and distributor customers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Replenishment Planning
  • Manage and coordinate pharmaceutical replenishment from global sites to the UK.
  • Track supply and demand forecasts for replenishment decisions.
  • Monitor inbound shipments and liaise with global teams to resolve issues.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain stock levels at 3PL to meet market demand.
  • Ensure stock rotation to minimize aging and obsolescence.
  • Analyse inventory trends and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Reconcile daily inventory files for accurate reporting.
Order Fulfilment
  • Manage direct-to-pharmacy order fulfilment.
  • Ensure timely product availability and delivery to partners.
  • Monitor and resolve fulfilment issues for customer satisfaction.
Service Level Management
  • Achieve and maintain service level and product availability targets.
  • Analyse and report performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track and report KPIs: inventory, service levels, stock aging.
  • Participate in S&OP with data and insights for decisions.
  • Provide recommendations to improve processes and automation.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum few years of experience in supply chain planning within pharmaceutical, FMCG, or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, replenishment planning, and fulfilment processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems.
  • Proven experience managing 3PL operations and working with distributors.
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
  • Experience using SAP and analytical tools such as PowerBI, Power Automate, Tableau, or similar.
  • Understanding of UK GDP regulations.
  • APICS certification is a plus.
