OU Business Partner United Kingdom & Nordics (UKN)

Location: UK – London or Leicester.

Otis is growing and is looking for an OU Business Partner for the United Kingdom & Nordics – UKN. This full‑time role leads supply chain matters within the operating unit and undertakes non‑catalogue local procurement when not managed by Global/EMEA sourcing teams, working with part‑time Supply Chain Country Business Partners in the associated countries.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Act as the single point of contact for all supply chain topics, including savings plans, payment term initiatives and other supply chain initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operational and country leadership to understand customer needs and deliver on expectations.
  • Identify gaps in supply chain processes, work with leadership to implement improvement solutions, and secure buy‑in from other parts of the business.
  • Implement and execute savings plans and alignment strategies.
  • Analyze and handle payment‑term activities at the country level.
  • Manage local support requests via the “Service Now” tool.
  • Support EMEA and Global Category Sourcing Teams (Field & Indirect) on EMEA‑wide agreements and opportunities, helping convert non‑catalog purchases into standard catalogs.

Key Requirements
Education
  • MBA/MA/MS with 1+ years of experience, or BA/BS with 5+ years of experience.
Experience
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a group of buyers to achieve quality, cost, and service level targets.
  • Strong cross‑team communication skills, aligning objectives and serving stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to own challenges, define problems, and reprioritize to meet objectives.
  • Experience with Global JDE & associated systems (K2), and Microsoft products: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Forms.
  • Collaborative work with cross‑functional groups including field operations, engineering, and supplier quality.
  • Team‑orientation and strong support for a collaborative environment.
  • Multilingual skills are an advantage.
