ShippingOperationsandInsuranceCoordinator-WhatYoullbeDoing:

WorkingwiththeTradeteamtheindividualyouwillberesponsibleforthephysicalshipmentofcocoabeanstoourcustomers.

Dutieswillinclude:

• WorkingwiththeOperationsManagertoprovidelogisticsupporttothetradingteam.
• Liaisingwithoverseasoperations,suppliers,shippinglines,freightforwardersandwarehousepartners.
• Monitoringofshipmentsandallrelateddocumentation.
• Checking&processinginvoicesforpaymentandliaisingwiththeAccountsteam.
• Timelyandaccurateenteringofdatatothein-housesystem.
• MonitoringandhandlingofdamagesinaccordancewithFCCrules.
• AssistingwithInsuranceClaims,submittingmonthlyinsurancedeclarationsandreporting.
• Positionkeeping.
• ProvidingmanagementreportsusingExcel–workingknowledgeofPivottables,VLOOKUPS&IFfunctionsdesirable.

ShippingOperationsandInsuranceCoordinator-TheSkillsYou'llNeedtoSucceed:

• Provenexperienceinshipping/logisticswithinasimilarenvironment.
• Softcommoditiesrelatedexperience.
• Highlyorganisedwiththeabilitytotrackandmanageavarietyofshipmentswithinafast-pacedenvironment.
• Abilitytomanageahighvolumeofshipmentswithlargequantities.
• Priorexperienceofinsurance.
• Excellentcommunicationsskills.
• Therolewillinvolvesometravel,bothtoorigincountriesaswellas3PL/4PLprovidersacrossEurope(10-20%)
