Why join us? Our Credit Hire team is at the heart of our insurance division, providing specialist claims handling and litigation support to clients across the sector. We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our growing Credit Hire Team in Liverpool. As a Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing a dynamic team of credit hire handlers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services to our clients, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and performance targets. The role is hybrid and you would be expected to attend the Liverpool office 2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday).

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of credit hire handlers, providing support, guidance, and training to ensure the development and performance of the team.
  • Case Management: Oversee complex and high-value credit hire cases, providing expert legal advice and direction.
  • Performance Management: Monitor team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure the team meets quality and productivity targets.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering a high standard of service and resolving any escalated issues or disputes.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk management procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving team processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Proven supervisory or management experience in a similar legal, claims handling, or insurance environment, ideally within the credit hire sector.
  • Strong knowledge of credit hire processes, motor insurance claims, and litigation practices.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching abilities, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and handle complex client issues.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
