A leading UK national contractor is seeking a Summer Placement Design Manager to assist in managing the design aspects of construction projects. This 8-week placement will provide students with practical experience and opportunities to develop key skills. Ideal candidates should be pursuing a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, possess strong organizational skills, and be proficient in design software.
As a Summer Placement Design Manager, you'll be working within the Construction team to assist in coordinating and managing the design aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will help ensure structural drawings and designs are produced on time and are easy to decipher, while overseeing the design process using technical expertise.

The programme will take 8 weeks to complete and is designed to immerse you in the world of construction, helping you apply your learnings in real-world situations and gain practical experiences to support the rest of your degree.
We are seeking students pursuing a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field who can join us on an 8-week placement across July – August. You must be returning to university upon completion of your placement.
