Substance Misuse Nurse

Salary: £38,000‑£43,000
Hours: Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm (No weekends)
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Contract: Permanent

This Substance Misuse Nurse role focuses on delivering frontline detoxification, assessments, and clinical interventions within a respected drug and alcohol recovery charity.

Key Duties
  • Complete clinical assessments, health screenings and detox support
  • Administer vaccinations (BBV), ECGs, and harm-reduction interventions
  • Support alcohol and opiate detoxification plans
  • Promote recovery, wellbeing and rehabilitation
  • Work closely with MDTs to deliver safe, person‑centred care
Requirements
  • RGN or RMN qualification with active NMC pin
  • Experience or strong interest in addictions
  • Titration experience desirable
