Job summary

A prominent UK university in Birmingham is seeking a Wellbeing Adviser to join the Mental Health and Wellbeing Team. This role involves providing direct support and practical advice on wellbeing issues to students, managing crisis situations, and promoting health initiatives across the campus. Candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent, possess strong counselling skills, and have an understanding of mental health issues affecting higher education students. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary ranging between £38,050 and £44,131.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working within a health-related environment, preferably with young people.
  • Experience in Higher Education setting or direct support for mental health.
  • Contribution to training and workshops in wellbeing issues is desirable.
