A supportive educational institution in England is looking for a dedicated Student Support Assistant / Key Stage 4+5 Administrator to promote positive behaviour and attendance among young people. You'll work within a committed team, helping students succeed by intervening positively in challenging situations. We are looking to appoint an inspiring Student Support Assistant / Key Stage 4+5 Administrator who wants to join an experienced, supportive, committed team of like-minded colleagues and make a real difference with our young people. The role will support young people to promote positive behaviour and excellent attendance throughout school by leading discipline measures, monitoring behaviour and attendance and intervening with positive measures when concerns arise.
The successful candidate will be a role model, listener and facilitator for behaviour. You may have previous experience within pastoral, workshop leader or youth worker or may have a background in the Army, youth offending service, or teaching and youth sector.
The team is well-established and highly supportive of one another. Led by a member of the Senior Leadership Team, colleagues work collaboratively, always putting the needs of our students at the forefront of what we do. We would love to show you round our academy.
Training will be provided along with an induction to support your transition into the role. Strong personal qualities such as confidence, integrity and presence are sought in addition to good functional ICT skills. Consistent and effective communication is required together with the ability to use your own initiative.
