Student Progress Officer - Secondary School (Tower Hamlets) Start Date: Immediate

We are looking for a committed and proactive Student Progress Officer to join our secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role

As a Student Progress Officer, you will:

  • Work closely with a designated year group, supporting students\' progress, wellbeing, and behavior
  • Collaborate with the Head of Year to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
  • Manage and follow up on behavioral incidents, implementing strategies to promote positive conduct
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, and engagement, working with families where necessary
  • Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to support students\' personal development
  • Play a key role in fostering a culture of high expectations and success across the year group

  • Has experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth work setting
  • Is resilient, approachable, and a strong communicator
  • Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers
