A leading educational institution in Farnborough seeks a dedicated Student Progress Advisor to support Year 12 and 13 students in their academic and personal development. The ideal candidate will work closely with students to ensure they achieve their goals and provide essential support throughout their educational journey. Contract: 37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (part time considered – minimum 4 days per week). Salary: Support Staff Grade 4, £22,995.17 – £28,793.85 per annum (£25,647 – £31,889 FTE).

We are seeking a new team of dedicated and passionate Student Progress Advisors to support Year 12 and 13 students in achieving their full potential. The Student Progress Advisor will be a key member of our pastoral support team, responsible for up to 11 tutor groups. You will work closely with students to ensure they complete their courses and reach their academic goals while also supporting their personal development. This role is central to improving student achievement and well-being, ensuring students excel both inside and outside the classroom.
This post is a term time plus two weeks contract. Term time at the College starts the week after GCSE results day. The additional two weeks required to work will contractually include working two days over A‑Level results day, and two days to support enrolment over GCSE results days. For example, Summer 2026 dates are 13th, 14th August and 20th, 21st August 2026. There will also be a requirement to work some twilight sessions across the academic year to support interview evenings.
