Ambitek is currently recruiting for Skilled Structural MIG Welders to join our client's team in Winsford.

Job Overview

As a Skilled Structural MIG Welder, you will be responsible for MIG welding structural beams and end-plates using solid wire MIG in the down-hand position. Candidates must be capable of performing a 10mm T-joint multi-run fillet weld with a start/stop.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG welding of structural beams and end-plates
• Perform solid wire MIG welding in the down-hand position
• Complete a 10mm T-joint multi-run fillet weld to a high standard
• Ensure all welds meet the required quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in structural MIG welding
• Ability to complete a 10mm T-joint multi-run fillet weld with start/stop
• Ability to pass a trades test before starting

Working Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 7:45am - 4:45pm
• Friday: 7:45am - 12:45pm

Rates of Pay (CIS or Umbrella)

• Basic: £19.85 per hour
• Overtime: £27.03 per hour (after 39 hours worked)
