We are working with one of the market leaders in sustainable structural solutions, known for delivering innovative and complex projects across the UK. Their portfolio includes a range of large-scale commercial, education, and mixed-use developments, with a growing focus on hybrid structural systems. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their Derby-based team.
You’ll play a key role in the design and delivery of structural steel and engineered timber hybrid projects. Working alongside a highly experienced team, you’ll take technical ownership of your designs, ensuring they are both code-compliant and commercially viable.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Structural Engineer
Strong background in structural steel and timber hybrid construction
Proven experience working with Eurocode 5
Proficient with structural design software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, ETABS, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a hybrid environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
