Structural Engineer Nottingham

Responsibilities:

• Delivering design work, inspections, and construction site support on infrastructure projects.
• Conducting concept and feasibility studies for multidisciplinary design projects.
• Performing analysis and design using engineering software such as Tekla, IDEA StatiCA, and TEDDS, as well as producing hand calculations.
• Preparing calculations, managing CDM activities, Basis of Design, Material Specifications, Scopes of Work, Technical reports, inter-discipline design coordination, and supervision.

Requirements:

• Good all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes.
• A degree in BEng or MEng in Structural Engineering.
• Proven ability in preparing bids and proposals, and developing strong client relationships.
• Experience in designing structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years UK experience.
