Job summary

A progressive consultancy in London is seeking a Structural Engineer to lead assessments and design refurbishment solutions for important community buildings. Responsible for producing technical reports, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and overseeing site work. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and relevant experience, alongside strong knowledge of UK building regulations. Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered or working towards IStructE or ICE status.
  • Experience in structural engineering within existing buildings.

  • Working closely with fire engineers, surveyors, architects and contractors
  • Producing clear technical reports and structural designs
  • Visiting sites and overseeing delivery of works
What we are looking for
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • IStructE or ICE Chartered or working towards it
  • Experience in structural engineering within existing buildings
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulations, Eurocodes, CDM and Building Safety Act
  • Confident using Tekla, TEDDS and structural design software

  • £40,000 to £65,000 depending on experience
