Job summary

A leading automotive logistics company is seeking a Strip/Refit Technician to join their team in Rochester, Kent. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle repairs, including the removal and replacement of components, and must provide their own tools. A valid UK/EU Driving License is required. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of £17.21 and follows a Monday to Friday work schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role as a Strip / refit technician.
• Full UK / EU Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Removal and replacement of bodywork, mechanical / electrical components.
• Diagnose and report additional faults.
• Re-assemble vehicle components after repair safely.
• Complete repair and maintenance work to manufacturer standards.
• Ensure documentation is completed correctly.

Working Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 6.30am to 16.30pm - Monday to Friday

Salary: £17.21ph

Our client is a prominent leader in the field of automotive logistics, worldwide shipping, remarketing, and technical solutions within the Automotive sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on all types of makes and models of vehicles, you will be an integral part of our team as a Strip and Refit Technician.

Responsibilities

• Removal and replacement of Bodywork, mechanical / electrical components on a wide range of vehicles
• Diagnose and report all additional faults for further repair
• Re-assemble vehicle components after repair in a safe and competent manner
• Ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed to manufacturer standards
• Ensure all documentation is completed and correct.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role as a Strip / refit technician
• Own tools
• Full UK / EU Driving License
