Join our Highways team as a Street Works & Permit Coordinator, where you’ll play a vital role in managing and coordinating street works and permits to minimize disruption and keep our roads safe and efficient.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate major works and permit applications, ensuring compliance with legislation.
  • Manage street works registers, inspections, and enforcement under the Traffic Management Act and NRSWA.
  • Liaise with utility companies and contractors to resolve conflicts and maintain smooth operations.
  • Oversee licensing for skips, scaffolding, and temporary traffic measures.
Qualifications
  • ONC or equivalent knowledge in a relevant subject.
  • Strong understanding of traffic management legislation and permitting systems.
  • Experience with NRSWA, coordination of works, and enforcement processes.
  • Excellent communication, IT skills, and ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Organised, collaborative, and committed to high standards of safety and service.
