Qualifications

• Strong understanding of current and emerging planning legislation ideally within the water or utilities sector.
• Experience within a corporate or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of environmental initiatives such as biodiversity net gain.
• Excellent analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Detailed understanding of the Town and Country Planning Act and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planning consents managing all related activities.
• Work collaboratively within project teams.
• Advise on all consents required for construction projects.
• Contribute to policy regulatory advice affecting consents delivery.
• Develop and implement planning and consultation strategies.
• Build relationships with local planning authorities.
