Overview

If you have the skills to drive innovation on social media as a brand, communication and engagement channel at the forefront of the RNLI's efforts to save lives and raise funds then this role could be for you. This is an exciting time to join the RNLI as we look to continue our lifesaving work in our third century of existence.

With a particular focus on realising the potential of social media as an income-generation and brand channel, the successful individual will have the ability to build relationships, integrate marketing and operational needs and influence across key internal teams to drive impact on our social media platforms, stay abreast of emerging trends and grow our ambitious and innovative approach to the charity's social media presence to raise income, engage existing and new supporters and deliver safety messages to the public.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Cutting-edge knowledge of the social media industry, platforms and trends, particularly in the field of fundraising.
  • Significant and demonstrable communications, fundraising and digital marketing expertise.
  • Ability to champion first-class supporter experience through social media and understand how to convert followers to long-term supporters.
  • Knowledge and experience using in-platform social media fundraising tools at scale.
  • Ability to set a clear direction for the team.
