Qualifications

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a management accounting role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including experience preparing accounts under FRS102.
• Previous experience supervising or managing a small finance team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts providing accurate and timely financial information.
• Support audit preparation and queries while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Supervise accounts assistants, ensuring accuracy in daily tasks.
• Manage credit control procedures and ensure timely collection of debts.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Strong organisational skills

Experience in management accounting

Ability to mentor team members

Education

Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

Equivalent experience in a similar role
